About Atelier de la Nature:
Atelier de la Nature aims to inspire people about the nature of our backyards, the food we grow and eat locally here in South Louisiana, and learn how collectively we can protect these natural gifts for future generations. Atelier de la Nature offers dual language (French- English) cooking demonstrations, guided nature walks, eco-workshops, art and science educational programing, and more! Within the nature reserve, restorations have begun to bring back native prairie, hardwood and wetland habitats, as well as family friendly nature trails. We all know that the food and culture of South Louisiana is special but did you know we live in one of the most biologically rich areas in the United States? Come join us to learn more! Located between Cecilia and Arnaudville, Atelier de la Nature, was began in 2016 by Aurore Ballengée (Sustainable food Educator) and Dr. Brandon Ballengée (Artist and Biologist) and their children Lily and Victor.
